Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 had created a tsunami at the box office. When the film was released, it broke many records. The movie was directed by Anil Kapoor.
Gadar 2 has left behind Shahrukh Khan’s film Pathan. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the latest domestic box office figures of Gadar 2 and said that the film is now the highest-grossing Hindi film, earning Rs 524.75 crore in India.

Gadar 2 collected 284.63 crores in week 1, 134.47 crores in week 2, 63.35 crores in week 3, 27.55 crores in week 4, 7.28 crores in week 5, 4.72 crores in week 6 and 2.75 crores in week 7. [बुध तक] Earned. Total collection till now is Rs 524.75 crore.
It was expected that Pathan would retain the number one position for a long time but then Gadar 2 came and wreaked havoc. Despite the challenges, Gadar 2 has achieved the top position.
Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 was released in theaters on 11th August and was a huge hit at the box office. The film hit the big screen almost two decades after the initial release of the first part, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.
Gadar 2 also stars Anil’s son Utkarsh Sharma, Gaurav Chopra, Manish Wadhwa, Manoj Bakshi, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha and Rakesh Bedi.
Sunny played the role of Tara, a truck driver, while Ameesha played the role of Sakina in the film, which was set during the partition of India in 1947.
The film is based on Tara Singh, who crosses the border in a daring rescue attempt. The character of his son is played by Utkarsh Sharma, who has been captured in Pakistan.
‘Gadar 2’ will be aired exclusively on ZEE5. For those who don’t know, ‘Gadar 1’ is already available on the same platform.
‘Gadar 2’ will stream on ZEE5 from October 6, 2023. According to media reports, the OTT rights of Gadar have been sold for Rs 50 crore.
