Lucknow: A heart-wrenching case has come to light from Sultanpur in UP. Here a husband strangled his wife to death in the car in front of his innocent children. The children told that father had gone out to take us to grandmother’s house. On the way there was a fight between father and mother. After this, father put the car on the side of the road. Then strangled the mother in front of us. Due to which the mother died. Then father kept sitting on his seat.
The UPEDA team passing from there stopped seeing a car parked in a suspicious condition. Seeing the team, the children started making noise. Then the team started opening the car. But, he did not open the car. After this the team called the police. The police came and opened the car. Then the children told the reality of their father. After this, the police took the accused into custody on the spot.
In fact, in 2008, Rahul Mishra (37), a resident of Safipur in Unnao, had a love marriage with Monika Gupta (32), a resident of Rae Bareilly’s Mile area police station area. Rahul used to run a transport agency in Lucknow. During that time he met Monica. Rahul had shifted to Lucknow with his family. It is being told that the man used to doubt his wife’s character, due to which he has carried out this incident.
According to the information, a large number of users used to follow the deceased on Instagram. Along with this, the woman had blocked her husband on Instagram. Due to which the insecurity of the husband about his wife had increased a lot.
Had taken love marriage together in 2008
Monica’s father Umashankar told that in the year 2008, Rahul had taken my daughter away by seducing her. After this he got married. For many years we did not allow both of them to come home. But later they started coming and going. Monica often used to tell that Rahul tortures her. He doubts his character. Used to beat him every day. He told us many times, but we used to assure him that everything would be fine.
Had left the car to go to Rae Bareli
Umashankar told that Rahul used to live in Lucknow only with his family. Last night, he had left from Lucknow to Rae Bareli in an Innova car UP (32-CJ-4541) with Monika and two children, a 12-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. But instead of going there on the way, he took the car and stopped at km-123 on Purvanchal Expressway near Mujesh intersection. Putting the car on the side, in front of both the children, Rahul strangled his wife to death inside the car. After this, he kept sitting in the car with the children.
The woman’s father was called by the police
The police reached the incident and after taking the number from the children called Monica’s father and called him on the spot. When Monica’s father reached the spot along with the family, the children told the whole incident to Nana as well. After this, Umashankar gave a complaint against the accused Rahul. Police has sent the dead body for postmortem. The police is interrogating the accused Rahul.

CO Baldirai Ramesh told that a young man killed his wife in the car in front of the children. He remained sitting in the car after the murder. The police opened the car and took the dead body of the woman into custody. On the statement of the children, the accused was taken into custody and arrested. A case has been registered on him. He is under interrogation.
