He told that both of them reached Rewari from Dharuhera by taxi and then took a train to Hisar where they met Udam Singh.

All three criminals reached Manali by taxi

He told that all three reached Manali by taxi and stayed in a hotel for two days before going to Chandigarh. He said that Haryana Police and Delhi Police helped Rajasthan Police in the search operation. According to him, inputs were also exchanged with Punjab Police. Gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, took responsibility in a Facebook post and said that Gogamedi was supporting his enemies.

No comment on motive

When asked about the motive of the murder, the Police Commissioner said that there is no clarity on the motive and something concrete can be said only after interrogating the accused. He said, “I cannot comment on the motive right now. The shooters were caught last night and will be interrogated.” On Naveen Shekhawat’s role, Joseph said he was equally involved in the crime. Yesterday, Jaipur Police arrested a person for helping Nitin Fauji in Jaipur. He was produced before a magistrate. The magistrate sent him to police custody.

Rajasthan Police had announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh for information leading to the arrest of each accused. Delhi Police sources said on Sunday that a team of the Crime Branch in a joint operation with Rajasthan Police caught the two criminals from Sector 22, Chandigarh.
