Students not ready to return from college to school in Bihar, demonstrated in front of BJP office

Patna. Students who have passed class 11 in degree colleges have been asked to transfer themselves from degree colleges to enroll in inter-level higher secondary schools for class 12 studies. Students are continuously protesting. On Thursday, students demonstrated in front of the BJP office. During this demonstration he also had a heated argument with the police. For the last five days, students studying Intermediate in various colleges of Patna have been protesting from the road to the Chief Minister’s residence. In many districts too, students created ruckus and demonstrated and asked not to harass the students taking enrollment for the session 2023-25. Student representatives had also met Education Minister Sunil Kumar in this matter. The minister had assured the students that wherever they are studying, they will also study in class 12th. Nomination will not be transferred, but now students are facing problems.

12th class will not be taught in degree colleges

Bihar School Examination Board has asked students and parents studying in class 11th to transfer enrollment from degree college. The committee has also issued an advertisement for this. The committee has said that for the session 2023-25, students studying in class 11th in all the degree colleges of the state will be transferred from degree colleges to enroll in intermediate higher secondary schools for class 12th. Class 12 studies will not be conducted in degree colleges in the session 2024-25.

Plus 2 option to be filled from 21st March

To transfer nomination, students can fill the options on OFSS portal from 21st to 31st March. During this time, all the concerned students will go to their nearest or convenient higher secondary schools (in which seats are vacant) and fill their options. After receiving the options, the school allotment list will be released on April 8. After allotment, students will have to take enrollment from April 8 to 14. Plus two schools will update enrollment till 15. The committee has said that if any applicant does not enroll in the allotted Plus Two school, then his name will be removed from the OFSS portal in the current session 2024-25. Also their application will be canceled. Therefore, all the processes will have to be completed by the enrollment date.

Vacant seats released on website

Students can check information about vacant seats on www.ofssbihar.in. This option cannot be given in schools where seats are not vacant. The committee has said that login to the portal can be done only through the mobile number and application reference number brought in the complete nomination. Nominations will be accepted in the same faculty in which the student has previously taken enrollment for class 11th.

More counters will have to be arranged for admission

The committee has asked the headmasters of all higher secondary schools to take nominations on the scheduled date. For this, we will ensure the arrangement of necessary counter for enrollment. Besides, for the convenience of the students, the list of students enrolled for the said institute will also be posted at suitable places.
