Student kidnapped at night, recovered during day, everyone surprised by this revelation of Siwan Police

Siwan. The police has revealed the sensational incident of kidnapping of a final year MSc student from the city’s DAV College Mod and her recovery from a room on Tuesday morning. Information about the kidnapping of the student was received through a text message on the father’s mobile demanding a ransom amount of Rs 60 lakh. On this basis, during the investigation, the police cracked the story of kidnapping by recovering the student from a lodge in the city police station area in the morning. On Monday night, a message was received on the mobile phone of Ehsanul Haq, resident of Hathora village of Hussainganj police station area, that his daughter Mehnaz Qamar alias Sahin, 28, has been kidnapped from DAV College More. In this regard, based on the application of Ehsanul Haq, the police registered an FIR in the city police station and started investigating the incident.

Ransom demand of Rs 60 lakh

Disclosing the incident in this regard, SDPO Sadar Firoz Alam told the journalists that on Monday night at around 9 pm, information was received that Mehnaz Qamar alias Sahin, 28 years old, daughter of Ehsanul Haq, resident of Hathora village of Hussainganj police station area, was kidnapped from DAV College More. Has been done. The kidnapper is a final year MSc student of DAV PG College, Siwan, who had come from home to attend classes. He said that an FIR to this effect was registered in the city police station on the basis of the application of the kidnapper’s father Ehsanul Haq. A ransom demand of Rs 60 lakh was sent through a message on the father’s mobile phone and the girl was threatened with death if she informed the police.

The student was recovered safely from the lodge

On the instructions of SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha, a special team was formed in this case. The special team included city police station incharge Sudarshan Ram, Muffasil police station incharge Arvind Kumar, Sarai OP police station incharge Upendra Kumar Singh and policemen from the technical cell. The special team immediately started raiding possible places through technical and manual methods. In the same sequence, the girl student was recovered safely from a room of the residence cum lodge of Pravindra Kumar Shukla in Shanti Nagar Panch Mandira locality of the city police station. According to the SP, prima facie it has come to light that the student herself had conspired to kidnap herself and demanded a ransom of Rs 60 lakh from her father. The owner of the lodge has told that the student had taken the room on rent in her name 15 days ago. She used to stay in the room the whole day and go somewhere at night. She was in her room on the night of 30 October.

Student is preparing for civil service

Mehnaz Qamar, a final year MSc Mathematics student, is preparing for civil services. Police say that books related to civil service preparation have been found in his room. According to the student, she has passed the UPSC preliminary examination twice. Couldn’t even come close to success in other exams. According to the police, the student seems stressed. Due to frustration due to not getting success in career, the police are suspecting that a story like kidnapping might be fabricated. When asked in this regard, the SDPO said that till now the investigation has not revealed any involvement of anyone else in fabricating this story with the student.
