Post-retirement income should be like a plate full of food – PFRDA Chairman
Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) Chairman Deepak Mohanty has said that people need to develop a ‘natural preference’ for pension and look for various benefits like ‘a plate of food’ to ensure a better life after retirement. It is necessary to have income from sources. Mohanty also said that whenever someone starts a job or work, he should start thinking about retirement income and pension from that very moment and should also invest for it. A good corpus for retirement can be created only by investing for a long period and taking advantage of ‘compounding’.
