The hearing of the murder case of coal businessman Suresh Singh was held in the court of District and Sessions Judge on Friday. Devendra Singh’s testimony was taken on behalf of the prosecution. He supported the incident in his statement. Advocates Anup Kumar Sinha and Abhay Kumar Sinha cross-examined on behalf of the defense side. He told that Devendra said in his statement: Shashi had fired at Suresh Singh. During the hearing, accused Pramod Srivastava and Monu Singh were present, while a representation application was filed on behalf of Alok Verma. Shashi Singh has been declared absconding by the police in this case. Ordering the prosecution to produce witnesses, the court has fixed the next date as April 20, 2024.
Order to produce witnesses in two cases of MLA Dhulu Mahato:
The hearing of two cases related to the fatal attack on Doman Mahato and the Haiwa robbery case of Kiran Mahato was held on Friday in the court of Special Judge Akhilesh Kumar of MP MLA Court. Baghmara BJP MLA Dhulu Mahato did not appear in the court. A representation application was filed on his behalf by his advocate NK Savita. In both the cases, Assistant Public Prosecutor Samit Prakash sought time to present the witnesses. The court has fixed the next date of hearing in both the cases as April 20, 2024.
Order to produce witnesses in Sushanto murder case:
The hearing of the famous murder case of Forward Bloc leader Sushanto Sen Gupta, his brother Sanjay Sen Gupta and activist Duryodhan Pal was held in the court of Special CBI Judge Rajnikant Pathak on Friday. The court ordered the CBI to produce witnesses and fixed the next date of hearing as May 17, 2024. Let us tell you that on October 5, 2002, Sushanto was going to Nirsa by car with his brother Sanjay and worker Duryodhan. The attackers had fired indiscriminately at the car near Gopalganj. All three died on the spot. While Pradeep Turi and Ganesh Swarnkar were injured.
Order to produce witnesses in Mahendra Singh murder case:
Hardcore Naxalite Ramesh Da alias Sakim Da, who is in jail on charges of murder of Male MLA Mahendra Singh, was presented in the court of Special CBI Judge Rajnikant Pathak. The court has ordered CBI to produce witnesses. Now this case will be heard on 29 April 2024. It is noteworthy that on February 6, 2005, Male MLA Mahendra Singh was murdered by criminals riding a motorcycle with an automatic weapon near Durgidhavaiya village while returning from a meeting in Bagodar.
Order to CBI to present witnesses in mobile theft case:
The hearing of the mobile theft case registered against accused Rahul Verma and Lakhan Verma, who are serving life imprisonment in the judge murder case, was held in the court on Friday. The court of Dhanbad Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Abhishek Srivastava has ordered the CBI to produce witnesses. The court has fixed the next date of hearing as 26 April 2024. It may be noted that apart from murder, the CBI had registered separate FIRs against both of them for auto theft and mobile theft on September 7, 2021.
