Start the work of Sultanganj-Deoghar Kanwaria corridor, MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey demanded in the House

Deoghar News: In the Lok Sabha, Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey put several demands related to tourism development under Section 377 before the government through the House. The MP said that in the year 2015, the PM had announced a corridor package from Sultanganj to Deoghar for providing better facilities in Kanwar Yatra and for the overall development of religious places. He said that under Section 377, all the incomplete projects should be completed, so that backward areas can be developed.

New projects should be introduced for development – MP

The MP said that Deoghar is an important religious center and here one of the 12 Jyotirlingas is Jyotirlinga and Shaktipeeth. More than five crore people come to Deoghar every year. Under a comprehensive programme, approved projects should be reviewed and new projects should be introduced for further development in backward areas. In this, in the year 2012, 25 crores were given by the central government for the construction of Q Complex in Deoghar, but the work has not been completed yet. The MP said that the decision was taken by the Ministry of Tourism to include Deoghar city in the Prasad scheme.

What else did the MP say?

The MP said that during that time I had put forward a demand to widen the narrow lanes of the city leading to the Baba Mandir. Entire Jharkhand including Deoghar is the center of Jainism and Hinduism. For its development, a comprehensive plan should be prepared by making a circuit of major religious centers, which will increase the respect of India. A development plan should be made including Parasnath, Deoghar, Basukinath, Maluti, Tarapith, Vikramshila, Bateshwarsthan, Mandar, Champapuri, Sultanganj, Karangari of Munger in the religious circuit.
