Special arrangements for devotees in Mahavir temple on Ram Navami

On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, preparations have been completed for a grand event at Mahavir Temple in Patna on Wednesday. The entry of devotees into the temple will start from 2.15 am. On the day of Ram Lalla’s appearance, devotees will start queuing up from late Tuesday evening to have darshan of Ram devotee Hanuman and Ram Darbar and to offer Prasad. About four lakh devotees are likely to reach Mahavir temple on the day of Ram Navami. The temple management has made many arrangements regarding this.

Flowers will be showered by drones

On Thursday, the day of Ram Navami, the puja will start from 10 am at the main flag site located in the Mahavir temple complex. After the puja, all the Hanuman flags located at Mahavir temple will be changed. The birth anniversary of Lord Ram will be held from 11.50 to 12.20 noon. During this time, devotees will remain sitting at their places in the queues. After the birth anniversary aarti, the process of offering prasad and darshan to the devotees will continue till 12 midnight. Flowers will be showered on Mahavir Temple by drone from 10 am to 2 pm.

Will be able to watch live broadcast on Facebook

Live telecast of the puja at Mahavir temple will be shown on the temple’s Facebook page patnamahavirmandir. A total of 16 big screens have been installed from Veer Kunwar Singh Park to the temple, Bhakta Marg and Mahavir Temple complex for live darshan of both the idols of Hanumanji and Ram Darbar present in the sanctum sanctorum of Mahavir Temple. There will be live telecast on Facebook-Instagram, YouTube and Siti Maurya Cable Network.

Devotees will be able to offer Prasad at this time

Acharya Kishore Kunal, Secretary of Mahavir Temple Trust, said that devotees will be able to offer Prasad from 2.15 pm on Tuesday-Wednesday night. Those with Prasad in their hands will line up and come into the temple premises from the northern entrance of the temple. There will be separate lines for women and men. Devotees coming without prasad and garland can enter the temple from the eastern entrance from 8 to 10 am. Jagran Aarti of Hanuman ji and Ram Darbar present in the sanctum sanctorum will be performed at 2 o’clock on Wednesday morning. After this, the doors of the temple will be opened for the devotees at 2.15 pm.

200 private security personnel and volunteers deployed

Kishore Kunal told that to reach Mahavir Temple, arrangements have been made to enter Veer Kunwar Singh Park. Keeping in view the heat and sunshine, many arrangements have been made for the devotees. Along with barricading, tents have been put up on Bhakta Marg. About 200 private security personnel and volunteers have been deployed by Mahavir Temple to assist the devotees on the day of Ram Navami.

25 thousand kg Naivedyam is being prepared

On this occasion, copies of Sunderkand published by Mahavir Temple will be distributed among the devotees. On the day of Ram Navami, 14 Naivedyam counters will be set up for the convenience of the devotees. Naivedyam of Mahavir Temple will be available at major places including in front of Mahavir Temple, Patna Junction Entrance No. 1, Auto Stand, Dakbungla Square, GPO Golambar, Veer Kunwar Singh Park. 25 thousand kg Naivedyam is being prepared. For this, more than 100 artisans from Tirupati are working day and night.
