Sparks came out from the petrol of Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express in Giridih, a major accident was averted, there was panic among the passengers.

Varanasi Ranchi Vande Bharat Express: Sariya (Giridih), Lakshmi Narayan Pandey: A major accident was averted in Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express at around 8:30 pm on Monday night at Sariya in Giridih. Actually, this train was going at its own speed. Meanwhile, sparks of fire started coming out from the engine’s pontoon near Hazaribagh Road Railway Station. There were also sounds of explosion. After this the driver realized this and stopped the train at the station by applying emergency brakes. Meanwhile, there was chaos among the passengers. After about 15 minutes, the sparks coming out were controlled. Then people got relief. Station Superintendent SN Bhattacharya informed that the train has been immediately repaired and sent to Gomo station, where it will be repaired after thorough inspection by the team of engineers.

Spark control after 15 minutes
There was panic among the passengers as soon as the train stopped in Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express, thinking that something untoward would happen. People came down from the train compartment to the platform. Amidst the torrential rain, all the passengers gathered at one place, drenched. As soon as the information was received, station officials, RPF staff and employees of the concerned department arrived. Started fixing it. After about 15 minutes the sparks coming out were controlled. Then people got relief.

Team of engineers will investigate
Actually, the petro is the upper part of the engine of the train, after coming in contact with the 25 thousand volt wire, the train can operate. This train stopped at Hazaribagh Road Railway Station at around 8:32 pm and was dispatched at 8:47 pm. In this regard, Station Superintendent SN Bhattacharya said that the train has been immediately repaired and sent to Gomo station, where it will be repaired after thorough inspection by the team of engineers.
