Song written in collaboration with Prime Minister Modi on the benefits of coarse grains nominated for Grammy Award

The song, written to promote the benefits of whole grains, has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Global Music Performance category. This song was written by Indian-American singer Falguni Shah in collaboration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Officials gave this information on Friday. The song “Abundance in Millets”, performed by Mumbai-born singer-songwriter Falguni Shah and her husband and singer Gaurav Shah, has been nominated for a Grammy Award. Falguni Shah is known by her stage name Falu.

Other nominees in the Grammy race include Arooz Aftab, Vijay Iyer and Shehzad Ismaili for “Shadow Forces”, Burna Boy for “Alone” and Davido for “Feel”. The year 2023 has been designated as the ”International Year of Millets”, for which a proposal was brought by India and members of the governing bodies of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) as well as the United Nations. It was endorsed by the 75th session of the General Assembly.

Earlier this year, before the release of the song, Falguni had said, Prime Minister Modi has written a song with me and my husband Gaurav Shah.
