In SKMCH (Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital) of Muzaffarpur, patients will start getting facilities like super specialty hospital from February 15. A new six-storey building has been constructed in the hospital premises, in which all the facilities of a super specialty hospital have been kept. It will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi through video conferencing.
Machines ordered at a cost of Rs 300 crore
Regarding preparations for the inauguration of the hospital, on Thursday, Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Pratyaya Amrit, held a meeting with SKMCH Principal Dr. Abha Rani Sinha through video conferencing and took stock of the preparations of the hospital. He said that machines have been brought to the hospital at a cost of about Rs 300 crore. All arrangements for advanced medical care have been made in the Super Specialty Hospital. Necessary equipment for all diseases has also been kept.
Facilities like private hospital will be available
Here patients will get facilities like private hospitals. Here, patients referred from all hospitals of North Bihar will be treated. There will be no need to refer any patient from here to Patna or Delhi. In this hospital, all diseases will be treated like the super specialty hospitals of Delhi and Mumbai. Now the patients here will not need to go out.
Different OPD and wards
Separate OPDs and wards have been created for the treatment of patients in the Super Specialty Hospital. Cardiology, Nephrology, Pediatric Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Burn wards have been created here.
Now plastic surgery will be done in SKMCH
The biggest thing is that now plastic surgery will also be done here. A separate wing has been created for this. All the equipment for plastic surgery has also been purchased. With the opening of Super Specialty Hospital, people of entire Bihar will get treatment facilities. There will also be arrangements for a canteen for the patients and their families.
