Singham Again: Renowned directors Rohit Shetty, Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh came together for the first day of shooting for their upcoming cop universe film Singham Again at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. Along with this, he also announced that the intense shooting of the movie has started. The film is now on the floors with an ongoing marathon schedule, which will release in the second half of 2024. Ajay Devgan will return as Singham, joined by Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. Let us tell you that Rohit Shetty and his association with the police started with Singham in 2011, which was followed by Singham Again in 2014 and finally Simmba in 2018, which started the first universe of Indian cinema. Which actors will be present in the film Singham?
After directing some of the most successful films of Hindi cinema in the last 20 years, Rohit Shetty is all set to make the biggest film of his career in the form of Singham Again. The filmmaker has got a large number of actors in the film along with Ajay Devgan. Singham Again, considered to be India’s biggest police universe film, will see Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in their police avatar fighting with the country’s common enemies Jackie Shroff. While Ajay is leading the show, Ranveer is playing a key instigator in the film, with Akshay playing a cameo role.
Kareena will soon join the shooting of Singham Again
Continuing her track of Singham Returns, Kareena Kapoor is back in the Singham franchise to play the role of Ajay Devgan’s wife, reports Pinkvilla. Despite not being a cop, she plays a very important role in the film and plays a major role in taking the story forward along with Singham and other cops. She will join the gang by the end of this month.

With Singham Again, there has been a change in the writing department in the cop universe. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is starring Shantanu Srivastava (Badhaai Ho, Tevar, Night Manager), Kshitij Patwardhan (Mauli, Faster Fan and Timepass 2), Yunus Sajawal (Simmba, Chennai Express, Singham and all other Rohit Shetty films), Milap Zaveri ( Kante, Shootout at Wadala), Abhijeet Khuman (Asur), and Sandeep and Anusha (also working with Rohit in The Indian Police Force) have written a punch packed script for the audience. Rohit and his team of writers worked together on the script for 18 months.

Singham Again will be shot in India and abroad over a period of next six months. The team has selected many shooting places for Singham Again. The action scenes will be done under the supervision of experts. Rohit Shetty has got some great technicians for the shooting of the film. Singham Again is touted to be Rohit Shetty’s most expensive film till date and will include some of the biggest action blocks of a police film made in India. According to sources, Rohit Shetty has worked effectively on the script of Singham Again over the last 18 months and has worked towards bringing a new arc to the dynamic character of Singham.
Arjun Kapoor will be the new villain in Singham
Actor Arjun Kapoor is the latest to join Rohit Shetty’s police series. The actor will be joining Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone. He will play the role of villain in the movie. If reports are to be believed, “Arjun has been chosen to play the villain in Singham Again, which is the third film in the Singham franchise. He will be the villain against the 4 supercops – Singham, Simmba, Suryavanshi and Lady Singham.” He said, “The filmmakers wanted to add a new flavor to the franchise, which is why they have roped in Prakash Raj and Amole, who have played villains in the franchise.
