Singer Samar Singh, accused in Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey murder case, has got bail from Allahabad High Court. The court has ordered the release of Samar Singh on bond. Varanasi Court had rejected his bail plea two months ago, after which Samar had approached the High Court. Samar Singh is lodged in Varanasi jail for seven months. On Tuesday, the bail plea of Samar Singh was heard in the court of Justice Sameer Jain in Prayagraj High Court. Lawyers from both sides gave their arguments. Samar Singh’s lawyer demanded his bail from the court and presented evidence. Whereas Akanksha’s mother Madhu Dubey’s lawyer Saurabh Tiwari opposed the bail of Samar Singh and said that bail should not be granted, there is enough evidence against it and we are collecting many evidences. But, considering the police charge sheet, investigation report and evidence, the court granted bail to Samar Singh.
The body of the actress was found in a suspicious condition in the hotel.
It is noteworthy that the body of Akanksha Dubey was found in a suspicious condition on March 26 in a hotel in Sarnath, Varanasi. Akanksha Dubey’s family members had accused singer Samar Singh of instigating her suicide. After investigation, the police had registered a case against Samar Singh and Sanjay Singh under other sections including abetment of suicide. After which the police arrested singer Samar Singh from Ghaziabad late night on 6th April. Sanjay Singh was arrested on April 12 and sent to jail in judicial custody. Samar Singh’s advocate Manish Tiwari and his associate Sunil Thekma had filed an application for bail in the High Court, accepting which the court on Tuesday ordered the release of Samar Singh on bail. According to his lawyer, Samar Singh will be released in the next two days.
Wave of happiness in singer’s village
Let us tell you that Samar Singh is a resident of Mehnagar tehsil of Azamgarh district. As soon as his bail application was approved, there was an atmosphere of happiness in the village. The village people and their families expressed happiness by feeding each other sweets and bursting crackers. Samar Singh’s close aide and former chief Kamlesh Singh claimed to have implicated Samar Singh in a false case.
Akanksha had told Samar to be responsible in the video
Many videos had surfaced after the death of Akanksha Dubey. In the video she was crying and saying that I don’t know what mistake I have done? I just won’t stay in this world. This is my last talking to you guys. If anything happens to me, Samar Singh is solely responsible for it. Apart from this, Samar Singh was also accused of cheating. Akanksha had blamed singer Samar Singh for every incident that happened to her. After Akanksha Dubey’s video surfaced, more questions started being raised on Samar Singh. The video was posted from Akanksha’s official Instagram account.
Police could not find the cause of death even after 7 months
How Akanksha Dubey died still remains a mystery. On the day of death, many videos from hotel to Maliquibar surfaced. In all these videos taken a few hours ago, Akanksha looked completely normal and happy. After some time, before suicide, she was live on Instagram. In this she was seen crying bitterly. But, the cause of death is not clear yet. Questions are being raised that under what pressure was Akanksha? Why did you take such a step? Answers to these questions have not been received even after seven months.
