The urea units to be established in Ramagundam, Talcher, Gorakhpur, Barauni and Sindri will go a long way in ensuring this goal of the government. He said that Talcher fertilizer factory will be started in the next one to one and a half years. Pointing towards the Lok Sabha elections, he said that if the public shows confidence, then we will go to inaugurate it. After laying the foundation stone of an alternative rail line in place of the fire-hit underground rail line between Dhanbad and Chandrapura, PM Modi said that Jharkhand is on the threshold of rail revolution with the dedication of several rail projects. Flagging off a new train between Deoghar and Dibrugarh, the PM said that it will help in connecting Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Dham with Shaktipeeth in Kamakhya. Other rail projects aim to increase rail connectivity from Jharkhand to other parts of the country.

India cannot become a developed nation without the development of tribals.

He said that the Central Government is working to fulfill the goal of developed India by 2047. India has become the fastest growing economy in the world and the economic growth has been at the rate of 8.4 percent in the period from October to December 2023, which is encouraging. But, without proper development of Jharkhand and its tribal brothers, the nation cannot become a developed India. He said that the Central Government has started many developmental projects for the development of the state. For developed India, it is necessary to develop Jharkhand also. The land of Lord Birsa Munda will fill energy power for developed India.

Eastern part of the country is progressing at the pace of development: Arjun Munda

Union Minister Arjun Munda, while welcoming the PM, said that the country’s agriculture budget has increased from Rs 2933 crore in 2013-14 to Rs 1.15 lakh crore in the last 10 years. The result of this is that the country is not only self-reliant in the field of food grains, but is also capable of exporting food grains worth Rs 5 lakh crore at present. He expressed his gratitude to the PM for the vision of ‘Suryoday se Purvodaya’ and said that steps like setting up a chip manufacturing factory in the North-East and other projects in the eastern part of the country will ensure development in the hitherto neglected areas. The north-eastern and eastern parts of the nation are progressing at the pace of development.
