Vikas, Koderma :

Enthusiasm is at its peak in the entire country regarding the consecration of Shri Ramlala’s life in Ayodhya. Vinod Shukla, who grew up in Jhumritilaiya, is among those who are directly involved in construction work. Vinod Shukla, 54, who spent his childhood and youth in Koderma Railway Station Colony, is currently working in ‘Tata Consulting Engineers Limited’ and is supervising the construction work of Shri Ram Temple as a project director. ‘BollywoodWallah’ had a special conversation with Mr. Shukla, originally from Buxar, Bihar, on Wednesday. During this, he brought forward many untouched aspects related to the construction of the temple.

Three floors, five pavilions and a spire are to be constructed:

According to Shri Shukla, Shri Ram Temple has three floors. There is a gap of 19-19 feet between the ground floor, first floor and second floor. The construction of ground floor and first floor has been completed. The construction of four out of five pavilions for dance, colour, esoteric, prayer and kirtan has been completed. The construction of Gudh Mandap is still pending. This pavilion will be built on the second floor. The construction of the sanctum sanctorum has been completed in the ground floor and first floor. Once the work on the second floor is completed, there will be a spire above it. Mr. Shukla told that there are a total of 14 gold plated doors in the temple. Ramlala will be seated on a gold plated pedestal. The 51-inch statue is made of black granite stone from the mines near Mysore.

There are 390 pillars, out of which 2000 sculptures are carved on 166:

Shri Shukla told that a total of 390 pillars have been erected in the temple. There are 166 pillars on the ground floor. Statues of about 2000 gods and goddesses have been carved on all these pillars. In the dance pavilion there are various forms of Lord Shiva, in the color pavilion there are forms of Lord Ganesha and in prayer and kirtan there are forms of Hanuman ji. At the same time, 10 incarnations of God will be seen in the esoteric pavilion. The sanctum sanctorum is made of Makrana marble, while the flooring is of 35 mm thick marble.

Designed to last for 1000 years, the circumambulation route is 732 meters long:

According to Vinod, the temple has been built in such a way that it will remain completely safe for 1000 years. Even the most intense four reactor scale earthquake cannot cause any damage. A 732 meter circumambulation path has been built around the temple. The peak is 161 feet high as per court order.

Arrangement of Surya Tilak on every Ram Navami:

Vinod told that complete arrangements have also been made to apply Surya Tilak directly on the idol of Shri Ramlala on every Ram Navami. Since Lord Shri Ram was born at 12:15 am on the day of Ramnavmi, there will be Surya Tilak of Ramji every time especially on the day of Ramnavmi. Such arrangements have been made that on this day the rays of the sun fall directly on the forehead of Shri Ramlala at the fixed time.

Shri Shukla told that the agency for the construction of the temple is Larsen & Toubro Limited, while Tata Consulting Engineers Limited is working as a project management consultant in this work.
