Shivpal Yadav will rectify the mistake made in 2019, will become Akshay Yadav’s charioteer from Firozabad, know political equation

Loksabha Election 2024: The Samajwadi Party is already working on its strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with careful steps. To answer BJP’s Mission 80, the success of India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) of the opposition is largely responsible for Samajwadi Party. That’s why the party is focusing the most on those seats, where it lost in 2019 due to the difference of less votes or due to its shortcomings. Firozabad Lok Sabha seat is one of them.

Shivpal Yadav spoiled SP’s game in 2019

Uncle Shivpal Yadav fielded from Firozabad in 2019 and created problems for nephew Akshay Yadav. He not only did the work of spoiling the equation of SP, but because of this the seat went to the BJP. BJP’s Dr. Chandrasen won from here by defeating SP’s Akshay Yadav, Shivpal Yadav finished third.

This time the uncle announced the victory of the nephew

Announcing to rectify this mistake in Lok Sabha elections 2024, Shivpal Yadav has said to ensure the victory of Akshay Yadav from Firozabad. He said, ‘This time this uncle will become the instrument of Akshay’s victory in the Firozabad parliamentary elections.’

This is how BJP got advantage in 2019

In fact, the 2019 Lok Sabha elections on the Firozabad seat were considered very important from the very beginning. Akshay Yadav of Mulayam clan, who had won from this seat in 2014, was again nominated by Akhilesh Yadav. Till then the political paths of Shivpal Yadav had diverged. He formed the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) and due to family dispute, he lost from this seat.

In such a situation, the caste and political equations changed. The entry of Shivpal Yadav into the fray caused a lot of damage to the Samajwadi Party. Even though Shivpal Yadav himself could not win, but he put hurdles in the victory of nephew Akshay Yadav. BJP’s Dr. Chadrasen got the benefit of this and he managed to feed Kamal from Firozabad.

Saifai clan united after Mulayam’s death

Saifai clan is united after the death of Mulayam Singh Yadav. That’s why confidence is also visible in him. Akhilesh Yadav has entrusted the responsibility of managing the electoral equation to uncle Shivpal Yadav. That’s why Shivpal is busy in strengthening the party on the seats dominated by Saifai clan.

Akhilesh Yadav is preparing to play an important role

On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav is also preparing to play a big role through India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) and PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority). To what extent this bet of Akhilesh Yadav will be successful, it will be clear after the election results, but Saifai clan has already started strengthening its roots.

SP engaged in caste equation

According to political analysts, Muslim voters in Firozabad influence the elections to a great extent. According to 2014 statistics, Firozabad has more than 16 lakh voters, out of which more than 9 lakh are male and more than 7 lakh are female voters. After Muslims, Jat and Yadav voters are considered to have a good influence on this seat. Samajwadi Party is trying to make this equation in its favor.

SP’s upper hand on assembly seats

Firozabad Lok Sabha constituency consists of Tundla, Jasrana, Firozabad, Shikohabad and Sirsaganj total 5 assembly seats. In the 2022 assembly elections, BJP’s Prempal Singh Dhangar, SP’s Sachin Yadav from Jasrana, Manish Asija of BJP from Firozabad, Mukesh Verma of SP from Shikohabad and Sarvesh Singh of SP won from Sirsaganj on Tundla seat. If we look at the assembly-wise political situation, then the SP has an upper hand in comparison to the BJP.

History of Firozabad Parliamentary Constituency

If we look at the history of Firozabad parliamentary constituency, in 1957, independent Brijraj Singh defeated Raghuvar Singh of Congress. In the 1962 election, Shambhu Nath Chaturvedi of INC defeated Dataram Gorakh of Gorakh Republic Party. In the 1967 elections, SC Lal of the United Socialist Party defeated C Ambesh of the Congress. In 1971, Chhatrapati Ambesh of Congress defeated Shiv Charan Lal of Bharatiya Kranti Dal.

In 1977, Ramji Lal Suman of Bharatiya Lok Dal defeated Raja Ram Peepal of Congress. In 1980, independent Rajesh Kumar Singh defeated Azad Kumar Kardam of Congress, in 1984 Gangaram of Congress defeated Rajesh Kumar Singh of Lok Dal. In 1989, Ramjilal Suman of Janata Dal defeated Gangaram of Congress, in 1991 Prabhu Dal Katheria of BJP defeated Shivnarayan Gautam of Janata Dal.

After this, in 1996, Prabhu Dal Katheria of BJP defeated Ramjilal Suman of SP. In 1998 also, Prabhu Dayal won the match between these two. After this, in the 1999 elections, SP’s Ramjilal Suman was able to win by defeating BJP’s Prabhu Dayal Katheria.

Ramjilal Suman once again won the 2004 Lok Sabha elections. He defeated the BJP’s Kishorilal atmosphere. And in 2009, Akhilesh Yadav defeated BJP’s SP Singh Baghel. However, after some time he resigned from this seat.

In the subsequent by-election, Raj Babbar won on behalf of the Congress. In the year 2014, senior SP leader Prof. Ramgopal Yadav’s son Akshay Yadav won from here. Akshay Yadav defeated BJP candidate SP Singh Baghel. After this, once again in 2019, the lotus bloomed in Firozabad and by taking advantage of the infighting between the Saifai clan, the BJP succeeded in making the lotus bloom here.
