Share Market Opening: Amid strong signals from the global market, the Indian stock market has seen a historic rise on the first trading day of the week. In the pre-opening, the 30-share BSE Sensex opened at 73,074.11 with a jump of 0.70 percent or 505.66 points. Whereas, Nifty touched lifetime high and crossed 22,081, up by 135 points. Today, 2160 shares have seen a rise in the market. Whereas, a decline was seen in 437 shares. The prices of 116 shares remained unchanged as before. Wipro’s shares have seen the biggest jump in the market by 10 percent. Whereas on Nifty, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree and Infosys were among the top gainers. Whereas, shares of HDFC Life, Eicher Motors, HUL, Hindalco and ICICI Bank were among the top losers in the market.
