Share Market: Market recovers after falling in pre-opening, Sensex crosses 66 thousand till closing, Nifty crosses 19765

Share Market Closing Bell: The Indian stock market fell in pre-opening on Thursday. However, within a short time the market became green again. Then the rise in the stock market continued till closing. BSE Sensex rose 306 points. The market remained bullish due to capital inflows by foreign institutional investors and buying of IT shares. The sentiment in the stock market has strengthened due to the lower than expected inflation rate in America and fall in bond yields. BSE Sensex based on 30 shares rose 306.55 points or 0.47 percent to close at 65,982.48 points. At one time during trading it had climbed up to 682.44 points. National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed at 19,765.20 points with a gain of 89.75 points or 0.46 percent. Among the companies included in the Sensex, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv were the major gainers. On the other hand, the loss making stocks include Axis Bank, Power Grid, ITC and ICICI Bank.
