Share Market Closing Bell: After the Indian stock market remained sluggish throughout the day, the market witnessed a spectacular recovery from the low levels in the last hour. BSE Sensex closed at 69,584.60 with a slight gain of 33.57 points and NSE Nifty closed at 20,926.35 points with a gain of 19.95 points. There was buying in PSE, Realty, Pharma shares in the market today. Whereas, Auto, Metal, Energy, FMCG indices also saw growth. There was pressure on IT and banking shares throughout the day. The midcap index closed at a record high. Pharma and FMCG shares also witnessed a rise. There has also been a good rise in power stocks. The midcap index has improved by about 370 points from the bottom.
