Share Market Closing: Amid strong signals from the global market, the stock markets regained momentum on Tuesday after two days of decline and BSE Sensex gained 276 points. Due to less concern about the policy rate in America, the market remained on the rise due to buying in metal, bank and energy stocks amidst bullish trend in the markets there. BSE Sensex based on 30 shares closed at 65,930.77 points with a gain of 275.62 points or 0.42 percent. At one time during trading it had climbed up to 427.21 points. 18 stocks included in Sensex were in profit while 12 were in loss. National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed at 19,783.40 points with a gain of 89.40 points or 0.45 percent. Among the companies included in Sensex, JSW Steel shares had the highest gain of 1.76 percent. Shares of Tata Steel rose 1.45 percent and those of Titan rose 1.44 percent. Apart from this, Sun Pharma, Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Tata Motors were major gainers.
