There have also been reports of deaths due to cold at many places in the state. Many people fell victim to cold in the last two days. In Bhagalpur, a laborer died in the middle of the road. Whereas in Motihari a student died in the school itself. Even in Madhubani, during prayer, the student trembled and fell on the ground and became unconscious. In Bettiah also, a student’s health deteriorated in school.
Laborer dies on the middle of the road in Bhagalpur
Now the cold has started increasing in Bhagalpur. Sabour area of Bhagalpur was the coldest in Bihar on Thursday, where the temperature fell to 8 degrees. A rickshaw driver suddenly died near Neem Gach on the road going from Khalifabagh Chowk to Kotwali Chowk in Kotwali police station area. There was a sensation in the area after the incident which happened around 11 pm on Thursday. The incident was informed to Kovatali police. After this, SI Dharmendra Kumar of Kotwali police station reached the spot with his team. Took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. A UD case was registered in the matter on the basis of the statement given by the family members.
Death while loading cement bags
The deceased was identified as Mohd. of Lodipur Jagatpur. It has happened in the form of expression. On receiving the information his family members also arrived. He expressed fear of death due to cold. However, the police said that the cause of death will be confirmed after the post mortem report comes. During this time local people also reached there. The family members also demanded compensation for the death from the police officials present at the spot. On which the police officials told about the rule of giving compensation from the district administration after the post-mortem of the dead body is confirmed in the report of death due to cold. Eyewitnesses told that rickshaw puller Izhar was loading cement bags on his rickshaw near Neem Gach. During this time he suddenly gasped and fell down. After suffering for some time, he died.
Student faints while going to class after prayers in Madhubani
A student of 8th class of middle school Tisiahi of Benipatti block of Madhubani fainted in the school premises around 10 o’clock. He was immediately taken to a private clinic and his family members were informed. The child’s condition became normal only after the doctors gave him first aid. The student who fainted was identified as Krishna Kumar Das, son of Anit Das, resident of Tyoth, a student of class 8. It is being told that he had fainted while going to class after attending a prayer session in the school.

Student dies in Champaran school, student’s health deteriorates

The deceased student has been identified as Manish Kumar, who was a student of class six in a government school. During the prayer, Manish suddenly trembled and fell down. He was sent to the hospital where he was declared dead. Whereas in Nautan Khurd, the middle school of Majholia block of Bettiah, on Wednesday, a student suddenly fell unconscious in the school and started vomiting. Jyoti Kumari, a class four student, was immediately taken to the hospital where after treatment her condition is now better.
