Administration officials were sweating in the heat so that 75 percent voting could take place. On Saturday, DM Mohd Maqsood Alam, SDO Dr Pradeep Kumar and Senior Deputy Collector cum OSD Mankeshwar Kumar and concerned block level officials inspected the polling stations of Thawe and Sadar blocks. During this, first of all the sensitive polling station number 264 of Thave block, upgraded middle school Sunderpatti, Panchayat Bhawan Jagmalwan polling station number 275, 276, primary school Bagaha Shaida polling station number 279 and 280 were inspected in the presence of Thave BDO Ajay Prakash Rai. During this, the DM took stock of the access roads, drinking water and other basic facilities at the polling stations. The DM directed to make arrangements for shade at these polling stations on the day of polling. Sensitive polling centers of Sadar block are Panchayat Bhawan Chauraon polling center number 109, Kisan Bhawan Bhitbherwa polling center number 83 and Community Building Kaithawalia East Part Polling Center No. 140, Community Bhawan Kaithawalia North Part Polling Center No. 141 and Community Bhawan Kaithawalia Left Part Polling Center No. Inspection of 142 was done in the presence of BDO Sanjeev Kumar. During the inspection, instructions were given to arrange basic facilities like drinking water and shade etc. at these polling stations on the day of voting. During this, he also talked to the principals/employees of the respective polling stations present there and got information about the problems there. The DM also talked to the voters of the respective polling stations and motivated them to vote as much as possible. In this sequence, BLOs of the respective polling stations were also present.
