On Wednesday at Gandhi Maidan in Patna republic day celebration Full dress rehearsal was conducted. Which was inspected by Patna Divisional Commissioner Kumar Ravi. 21 contingents participated in the final rehearsal of the parade. Earlier, the Commissioner laid a wreath at the Shaheed-e-Kargil memorial site.
Even in the fog and severe cold, the zeal and passion of the soldiers was amazing in the full dress rehearsal for Republic Day. The sight of the soldiers marching in sync with each step was beautiful. This parade was led by newly appointed IPS Deeksha Bhavre.
After inspecting the final rehearsal of the parade, the Commissioner said that the entire Gandhi Maidan has been divided into four sectors and sub-sectors as per requirement. All arrangements are being made by keeping ADM and Deputy Superintendent of Police in senior charge in the sector. More than a hundred magistrates and police officials have been deputed.
The Commissioner directed the officials to pay special attention to security arrangements, audience gallery management and VIP protocol for successful organization of the function.
The Commissioner said that there can be no compromise on security. All magistrates and police officers will remain ready till the spectators leave. Every convenience of the spectators should be taken care of.
The Commissioner said that every activity at the function at Gandhi Maidan will be monitored through 91 CCTV cameras. In this, 23 cameras are operational around Gandhi Maidan and 68 cameras inside the ground and at the gate.
The Commissioner said that the activities will be monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) building.
Commissioner Kumar Ravi and Inspector General of Police Garima Malik said that there will be perfect arrangements for law and order monitoring and security at the function. Activities will be monitored through a temporary control room at Gandhi Maidan.
There will be arrangements for health care in case of emergency in and around the program venue. Emergency facilities will be available in AIIMS, PMCH, NMCH, IGIMS, Gardiner Road Hospital and other hospitals.
Traffic arrangements have been made by the Traffic SP on the occasion of the function. Information related to the traffic plan will be published in newspapers.
On this occasion, Inspector General of Police, Central Zone Patna Garima Malik, DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, SSP Rajeev Mishra, DDC Tanay Sultania, City SP (Central) Vaibhav Sharma, Patna Sadar SDO Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar and other officials were present.
