Security forces thwarted the plans of Naxalites in West Singhbhum, two IEDs recovered

Chaibasa: West Singhbhum district police and security forces have once foiled the plans of Naxalites. Actually, the soldiers have recovered two IEDs on the hilly road between Hathiburu to Lowabeda of Goilkera police station area. According to the information, Naxalites had made full preparations to cause harm to the security forces. It is said that on Thursday, security forces were conducting a search operation against Naxalites. In this sequence, two IEDs were recovered from Hathiburu of Goilkera to Lowa Fleet.

Along with this, the soldiers also demolished the old temporary Naxalite camp built in the hilly areas around Tumbahka and Pradhanghat of Tonto under Kolhan forest area. There was arrangement for about 25 to 30 people to stay in the said camp. Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Shekhar said that the camp built by the Naxalites is about three-four months old. A stove and some old items, which were not fit for use, have been recovered from the camp.

It is noteworthy that the top leaders of the banned CPI Maoist Naxalite organization Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochhu, Chaman, Kande, Ajay Mahato, Sagen Angriya, Ashwin are active in Kolhan area along with their squad members. Due to this, a continuous search operation is being carried out by the soldiers of Cobra Battalion of District Police, Jharkhand Jaguar and various companies of CRPF.

This campaign will start from October 10, 2023, in Kuida, Chhota Kuida, Maradiri, Meralgada, Hathiburu, Tilayabeda Boypaissang, Katamba, Bayhatu, Boroy, border areas of Lemsadih village under Goilkera police station and Husipi, Rajabasa, Tumbahaka, Regada, Patatorb, Goburu, Luiya under Tonto police station. continues in the border area. Recently one IED each of 5 and 6 kg was recovered. Which was destroyed on the spot by the security forces with the help of the bomb disposal squad. The Superintendent of Police said that this campaign against Naxalites will continue.
