Manoj Yadav, who had contested elections on Congress ticket, is now in BJP.

Pradeep Yadav, who last fought from Godda on Jharkhand Vikas Morcha ticket, is also in Congress. Manoj Yadav, who contested the elections from Koderma seat on Congress ticket, is now in BJP. Babulal Marandi, who contested the last election from the same seat on Jharkhand Vikas Morcha ticket, is now the state president of BJP.

Geeta Koda, who won from Congress, also joins BJP

Geeta Koda, who won Singhbhum seat on Congress ticket in the last Lok Sabha elections, has now joined BJP. BJP has also made Geeta Koda its candidate from Singhbhum. Geeta Koda has been a Congress MP for about five years.

Kirti Azad of Congress is now in Mamata’s party Trinamool Congress

Former cricketer Kirti Azad, who contested the elections on Congress ticket from Dhanbad seat, has now joined Mamata Banerjee’s party. Mr. Azad has now been made the TMC candidate from Durgapur. Ghuran Ram, once an MP from Palamu, was in RJD during the last elections. Contested Lok Sabha elections from Palamu on RJD ticket. Now he has joined BJP.

Two prominent candidates have passed away

Two prominent candidates contesting in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections died during this period. Laxman Gilua, who contested the elections on BJP ticket, and JMM’s Jagarnath Mahato, who contested from Giridih, are no more. Both of them died during this five years.

Shibu Soren now Rajya Sabha member, Jayant did not get ticket

JMM’s Shibu Soren, the main candidate who lost from Dumka, has now become a Rajya Sabha member. The party has not given ticket to former minister Jayant Sinha. Babulal Marandi has been made the President of Jharkhand State BJP.
