School holidays increased due to cold in these districts of Bihar, now schools will open on this day and not on January 16

It has been extremely cold in Bihar for the last few days. There has been an increase in the humidity in the air due to fog. People have stopped coming out of their homes. The minimum temperature has gone below 10 degrees in most of the districts of the state. In such a situation, in view of the problems of school students, all the schools up to class 8th in various districts of the state including Patna were closed till January 16. At the same time, further frost possibility of and cold wave In view of the possibility of adverse effect on the health of children, school holidays in many districts have been extended till January 18. Apart from this, the operation of Anganwadi center has also been stopped till January 18. The districts where holidays have been extended include Madhubani, Arrah and Sheikhpura.

Educational activities will remain suspended in classes 1 to 8 in Madhubani till January 18.

Madhubani district DM Arvind Kumar Verma has directed to suspend educational activities in all private and government schools from classes 1 to 8 (including pre-schools and Anganwadi centers) from January 16 to 18. But headmasters, teachers and non-teaching staff of government schools will remain present in the schools from 9 am to 5 pm as before. This order will be effective from 16 to 18 January.

Teaching work of primary and middle schools of Bhojpur district will remain postponed till 18th.

Bhojpur (Ara) District District Magistrate Raj Kumar has ordered to keep all primary and middle school classes closed till January 18. During this period, educational activities in government and private schools from classes one to eight will remain closed. Whereas the educational activities of all classes above class ninth will be conducted from 10 am to 3 pm.

At the same time, work related to Mission Daksh and board exams will remain free from this order. All school managements will implement this order in a responsible manner under all circumstances. At the same time, all school managements will reschedule educational activities as per the above order. Whereas all the teachers and non-teaching staff including the headmaster of the school will remain present from 9 am to 5 pm.

There will be no studies in Shekhpura till 8th class till 18th January, teachers will have to stay in the school.

Shekhpura District Magistrate J Priyadarshini has also banned studies for all classes up to class 8 till January 18. At the same time, the conduct of Class IX will continue with adequate caution between 9 am to 3 pm as per the previous order. The conduct of special classes conducted for board exams has been exempted from this order.

Using the powers given in Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the District Magistrate has banned the educational activities of all private and government schools as well as pre-schools i.e. Anganwadi centers in the district. However, teachers have not been given any kind of facility during this period. They will have to reach school on time even in extreme cold and then leave school on time.

Anganwadi center closed till January 18 due to extreme cold

To protect against cold wave and in view of extreme cold, all Anganwadi centers in the district will remain closed till January 18. ICDS Director Patna has issued a letter to this effect. It has been told in the letter that the cold is severe. Due to which small children may be affected by attending the center on time.

According to the decision of the High Court, it is mandatory to distribute nutritional food at Anganwadi centers 300 days in a year. Keeping the center closed till the said date, all the maids have been directed to visit homes and ensure daily supply of food items to the registered children of 03-06 years of age. Let us tell you that earlier the DM had issued instructions to keep the center closed till January 16.

Meteorological department issued alert regarding cold

According to the IMD forecast, there will be rain in the state on Tuesday in north-western districts like West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, East Champaran, Gopalganj, north central districts of Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Shivhar, Samastipur and south-western Bihar. There is a possibility of severe cold at some places in the districts Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas, Bhabhua, Aurangabad and Arwal. Orange alert has been issued for these districts. Severe cold is expected to continue in the remaining parts of the state also. There is a yellow alert for these.

Bonfire became a refuge from the cold

Bonfire is a refuge among the people to escape from the bone-chilling cold. At various intersections and shopkeepers are trying to escape the cold by lighting bonfires in front of their shops. In this cold, working people and common people are facing problems while travelling. The people living on the footpath are somehow surviving on bonfires. Till now the Municipal Corporation has not been able to make arrangements for bonfires at the intersections.
