School Closed: Cold day conditions have arisen in most of the districts of Bihar including Patna due to cold wave and fog. In view of the possibility of adverse impact on the health and life of children due to such increasing cold and cold wave, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh has issued an order to stop studies in all the schools of Patna district till class 8th till January 20. .

Holidays extended till class 8th

In the order issued, it has been said that educational activities in all government and non-government schools of the district from primary school to class eighth will remain closed till January 20. Anganwadi centers will also remain closed during this time period. Academic activities for classes from class ninth to above will run from 9 am to 3.30 pm.

Mission Daksh’s classes will continue

At the same time, orders have been given to conduct special classes with caution for Mission Daksh and board exams. The operation of classes 9 above that will continue with adequate caution between 9 am to 3 pm as per the previous order. The conduct of special classes conducted for board exams has been exempted from this order.

Using the powers given in Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the District Magistrate has banned the educational activities of all private and government schools as well as pre-schools i.e. Anganwadi centers in the district.
