Saree stuck in Delhi Metro gate, woman dies, children become orphans

The woman has been identified as 35-year-old Reena. According to the information given by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the woman who was hit by the train at Indralok Metro station died in Safdarjung Hospital.

A Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) official said that the woman had fallen under the metro train last Thursday when a part of her clothes got stuck between the doors of the metro train. It is not known whether the woman was getting off the train or trying to board the train. Chief Public Relations Officer of Delhi Metro, Anuj Dayal gave information on the matter and said that this incident happened on Thursday at Indralok Metro station. He said that it seems that the clothes of the female passenger got stuck in the train, due to which she got injured. After this he was taken to the hospital for treatment where he died.

According to the news going on in the media, a relative of the woman told that at the time of the accident she was going from Nangloi in West Delhi to Mohan Nagar. The woman’s husband died about seven years ago and her family now consists of a son and a daughter. As soon as the family got this news, they started crying and crying.

If reports are to be believed, the family has two children aged 14 and 11 years. After the death of her husband, Reena used to sell vegetables in the area and take care of the family. After the father, the shadow of the mother also left their head, after which the children became orphans.
