Deoghar: Godda MP Dr Nishikant Dubey met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Saturday. During this, agreement was also reached on many demands of the MP. In this, it was mainly agreed to start a new train from Shri Baidyanath to Vishwanath via Gaya in the new year. In January, the MP invited the Railway Minister to visit Deoghar and Godda for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of several railway projects, which the Railway Minister accepted. Inauguration of rail service on Mohanpur-Hansdiha rail line, foundation stone of Basukinath-Chitra rail line, foundation stone of Godda to Mehrama rail line and Madhupur rail bypass in the first phase of Godda-Peerpainti rail line.

The MP invited the Railway Minister to visit Deoghar and Godda for the inauguration and foundation stone laying of several projects.
The Railway Minister assured that the tender for the Godda-Mehrama rail line will be done by December 30 and the tender for the Madhupur rail bypass will be done by January. On the proposal of MP Dr Dubey, the Railway Minister gave consent to the construction of new halts at Trikoot, Sarvadham, Bharaundha in Mohanpur-Godda railway line, Badhait in Hansdiha-Dumka railway line and Maheshmara in Deoghar-Dumka railway line. During his arrival in Deoghar, the Railway Minister will also lay the foundation stone of these halts.
