Sanjay Singh Bail: The Supreme Court has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh in the Delhi Excise Policy case. The court has approved his bail with conditions. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has granted bail to Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh. Rouse Avenue Court has set five conditions for his bail. Sanjay Singh will have to accept these five conditions. Let us tell you, Sanjay’s wife has become his surety. The bond has been filled in his name only. Sanjay Singh will have to submit his passport.

Sanjay Singh got bail with conditions

Regarding the bail of Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh, his lawyer Hrishikesh Kumar said that today the trial court has clarified the conditions of bail. The first condition of bail is that he has got bail on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh. The second condition is that Sanjay Singh will have to submit his passport in the court. According to the third condition, he will not say anything about his role in the Delhi Excise Policy matter. According to the fourth condition, if they are traveling outside Delhi, they will have to share their itinerary with the investigating officer. Or they will have to inform about their program in advance. Apart from this, Sanjay Singh will not tamper with the evidence in any way nor influence the witnesses.

Sanjay Singh will not try to escape – lawyer

Supreme Court Special Judge Justice Kaveri Baweja gave several instructions before passing the order to release Sanjay Singh from Tihar Central Jail. Along with the bail application, the AAP leader’s lawyer told the court that I (Sanjay Singh) am a member of Parliament. There is no risk of me running away. The judge has directed the accused to deposit a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh and a surety of the same amount.

Arvind Kejriwal is in Tihar only

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has also reached Tihar jail in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by ED on March 21. After his arrest, he remained in ED custody for 10 days. After this he was presented in the court. ED said in the court that CM Arvind Kejriwal has not cooperated in the investigation. Also appealed for judicial custody of 15 days which was accepted by the court.
