Salaar OTT Release: Prabhas’s ‘Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire’ is all set to take the box office by storm when it releases in theaters on December 22. The film has registered a huge advance booking, the movie has already sold 6,78,292 tickets and collected Rs 14.88 crore.
The runtime of the movie ‘Salaar’ has been officially confirmed as 2 hours, 55 minutes and 22 seconds. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given ‘A’ certificate to Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s collaborative effort in Salaar.
The trailer has given a glimpse of the fact that there are going to be tremendous twists and turns in this action-packed drama. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
However, fans are also eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Prabhas’s film. Now if reports are to be believed, the digital debut of Salaar will be on OTT giant Netflix. An official announcement is yet to be made. Talking about its release, the movie will hit OTT after 2 months of theatre.
The first ticket of the film was officially purchased by the iconic filmmaker SS Rajamouli in Hyderabad. Sharing an image of the special moment with Rajamouli featuring Prabhas, Prashanth Neel and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Hombale Films wrote: “Veteran director SS Rajamouli garu buys first ticket for #SalaarCeaseFire at Nizam.”
Apart from Prabhas, Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire, which is basically a story of friendship, also stars superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in an important role.
Prithviraj, who predominantly works in Malayalam films, told PTI about the film, “I remember the first time I came up with the idea of being a part of Salaar…I didn’t expect Salaar to be this kind of film. .
He said, when you imagine that KGF series director Prashant Neel is making a film with one of the biggest stars of the country, Prabhas, you don’t think that it will be a film about two friends… That’s it. So Salaar is really…it’s an exciting film.”
Apart from Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film also stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinu Anand, Ishwari Rao, Shriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju in lead roles.
