Sahibganj Child Trafficking Case: Jharkhand High Court asked, what action was taken to recover the missing children?

Ranchi, Rana Pratap: Jharkhand High Court Heard the criminal appeal petitions filed by Kuldev Sah, accused in the case related to child trafficking in Sahibganj. The division bench of Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Pradeep Kumar Srivastava heard the parties during the hearing of the case. The division bench gave verbal instructions to the investigator of the case to continue the search to recover the children. Other children victims of trafficking will also be recovered. What steps have been taken to recover the two missing children. The state government was directed to file its reply through an affidavit. The division bench fixed February 19 for the next hearing of the case. Let us tell you that M Hembram had filed complaint number 148/2022 in the Sahibganj court regarding the trafficking of his son. In this, an allegation has been made against Kuldev Sah and Viren Sah that their son is missing since the year 2018. An FIR has been registered against Kuldev Sah and Pappu Sah in Borio police station of Sahibganj under case number-2020/2022.

IO was physically present

The investigator (IO) was physically present during the hearing of this case in the Jharkhand High Court. It was told from their side that the process to find the two missing children is going on. The team that went to Delhi on the instructions of Sahibganj SP has recently recovered 20 girls from different areas of Delhi. Of these, 16 girls are minors, while four are adults.

Advocate Pratyush Lala and advocate Deepak Sahu appeared on behalf of the defendant. It is noteworthy that applicant Kuldev Sah has filed a petition demanding bail. M Hembram had filed complaint number 148/2022 in Sahibganj court regarding trafficking of his son. In this, allegations have been made against Kuldev Sah and Viren Sah. His son is missing since 2018. An FIR has been registered against Kuldev Sah and Pappu Sah in Borio police station under case number 2020/2022.
