Announcement to invest Rs 1000 crore

The company has announced an investment of Rs 1,000 crore in the current financial year, including electric vehicle manufacturing and product development. A part of this investment will be spent on launching new products from the company’s existing internal combustion engine (ICE) portfolio.
CEO disclosed
The CEO of Royal Enfield reportedly said that the company is moving forward with its electric bike project. Explaining further, he said that- these electric bikes will get the same features for which Royal Enfield products are known. Further in his statement, he said that- We are continuously progressing on the journey of EV and I can say that the journey of EV is now on its top gear. We aim to create a uniquely different electric bike with the strong Royal Enfield DNA. The CEO told in his statement that the company has also tested several prototypes of its upcoming electric electric bikes. Despite all this information, the company has not revealed when the electric bike of Royal Enfield will be launched.
