Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be launched in India on September 1, is price or name enough?

New Delhi : Bullet has something different to ride with pride among the two-wheeler motorcycles of India. When it comes to Royal Enfield Bullet, its enthusiasts do not ask its price, its name alone is enough. Now the same Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be launched in the Indian bike market on September 1, 2023. According to media reports, Royal Enfield is all set to launch the new generation of Bullet 350 in the Indian market on Friday. It will replace the existing UCE Bullet being sold. The new Bullet 350 is expected to be positioned between the Hunter 350 and the Classic 350. Leaked documents reveal that the two-wheeler motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield will offer the Bullet 350 in three variants.

Changes in Royal Enfield Bullet 350

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be based on Royal Enfield’s J-platform, which also underpins the Classic Reborn, Meteor 350 and Hunter 350. The improvements that Royal Enfield has made with the J-platform compared to the previous platform are significant.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 engine

Now if we talk about its engine, then the engine of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will also be new. This is the same unit found on other 350 cc motorcycles. However, Royal Enfield will remodel it to suit the specifications of the Bullet. The engine generates maximum power of 20 bhp and peak torque of 27 Nm. The gearbox on duty will be a 5-speed unit which is much smoother than before.

Switchgear of Royal Enfield Bullet 350

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will also use the same rotary-style switchgear as the motorcycle Classic 350. However, the base variant can get a simpler set of switchgear, which is offered on the base variant of the Hunter 350. It will also have halogen headlamps and a new tail lamp.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 brakes

Braking work of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be done by front and rear disc brakes. It will have disc brake or drum brake. It depends on what type of option the person chooses. Suspension duties will be handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas shock absorbers at the rear. The instrument cluster will also be new, with an analog speedometer and a small digital display that will also show service alerts, an odometer, an eco indicator and a fuel gauge.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Price

The current Bullet 350 is priced between Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.69 lakh. Currently, the most affordable motorcycle in Royal Enfield’s lineup is the Hunter 350. The price of the new generation Bullet 350 is expected to start from Rs. 1.70 lakhs. All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom.

Features of Royal Enfield Hunter 350

Now if we talk about Royal Enfield’s Hunter 350, then the price of Royal Enfield Hunter 350 in the Indian bike market starts from Rs 1.50 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Royal Enfield Hunter 350 bike comes in two variants Retro Hunter and Metro Hunter.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Engine and Transmission

This roadster motorcycle has a 349 cc single cylinder 4-stroke air-cooled engine, which generates power of 20.2 PS and torque of 27 Nm. It has been given a 5-speed gearbox with the engine. The curb weight of this bike is 181 kg, while its fuel tank capacity is 13 liters. The company claims that this motorcycle gives a certified mileage of 36.5 km per liter.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Suspension and Brakes

This bike of Royal Enfield has telescopic suspension on the front and twin shock absorber suspension on the rear side. For braking, it has been provided with 300 mm disc brakes on the front and 270 mm disc brakes on the rear side. For riding, it has been provided with 17-inch spoke and alloy wheels (depending on the variant), which are fitted with tubeless tyres.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Features

Features like analog and digital instrument console, navigation, USB charging port, analog speedometer, digital odometer, tripmeter and tachometer, digital fuel gauge, engine kill start have been provided in this motorcycle. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 competes with TVS Ronin 225, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220, Jawa Perak and Yezdi Roadster.
