Road safety campaign going on in Hazaribagh, challan will be issued if traffic rules are violated

Hazaribagh News: Road safety campaign will be run for one month in Hazaribagh district. It will run till 15th February. If you are caught using earphones or talking on mobile while driving any type of vehicle, you will be fined. At the same time, to meet the safety standards, reflective tapes are being installed in small and big vehicles. DTO, MVI and Road Safety Committee personnel will conduct checking campaigns at various intersections of the city. During this period, heavy fines will be levied for not following traffic rules. Also challan will be issued. BDO has got the responsibility of running regular checking campaigns in the village. On the instructions of the Ministry of Transport and Highways, Government of India, a road safety campaign will run across the district till 15th February. DTO Baidyanath Kamati and MVI Gopinath De gave information about the campaign in a press conference. Told that during the campaign, the drivers will be urged to follow the traffic rules by first giving a flower of Ghulam. Even after this, if traffic rules are not followed, challan will be issued. Fine will be charged for deliberately breaking traffic rules. Officials said that drunk driving, helmet while driving a two-wheeler and seat belt while driving a four-wheeler are being checked. Challans will be issued for race driving, triple load and not having driving license. Also, action will be taken against parking vehicles in no parking zone.

Road safety awareness bike rally will be held on 19th January. There will be card play and pamphlet distribution on 18th January, social media coverage on 20th January, health checkup camp on 21st January and roses will be given to drivers on 22nd January to encourage them to follow traffic rules. At the same time, on January 26, a tableau on security campaign will be taken out by the Transport Department at the historical Curzon Ground of the city. Awareness campaign will be run in bus stands on 28th January. On January 30, a short film (movie) will be shown along with a speech competition on traffic related questions at the intersections.
