Road accident in Banka, six kanwariyas going to Babadham injured after falling from a moving pickup van, one in critical condition

Six Kanwariyas of Chhattisgarh were badly injured in a road accident on Wednesday evening at the speed breaker near Gadua bridge on Katoria-Sultanganj main road under Suiya police station area of ​​Banka. In which the condition of a female Kanwariya is critical. Which has been referred to Deoghar for better treatment. All the injured Kanwariyas are residents of Raipur and Bemetara districts of Chhattisgarh. The injured Kanwaris from the spot were admitted to Katoria Referral Hospital by ambulance. The accident happened due to breaking of rope

According to the information received, a group of Kanwariyas from Chhattisgarh were going to Babadham to offer prayers in a pick-up van by taking Gangajal from Sultanganj. Many kanwariyas were also sitting on a dala tied with a rope behind the pick-up van. Dala’s rope broke due to high speed at the speed breaker near Suiya’s Gadua bridge. As a result, apart from the kanwariyas sitting on the dala, other kanwariyas sitting behind also fell on the paved road from the moving pick-up van. After stopping the vehicle further, with the help of fellow Kanwariyas and Suiya police, all the injured were taken to Katoria Referral Hospital.

Six kanwariyas of Chhattisgarh were injured

Among the injured Kanwariyas, Kamla Nishad (40 years), wife of Munshi Nishad, resident of Neura village of Tilda police station area of ​​Raipur district, Shanti Sahu (40 years), wife of Manik Ram Sahu, resident of Apoli-Kala village of Arau police station area, son of owner Ram Pathkar, resident of Kharoda. Khorbahara Pathkar (56 years), his wife Anita Pathkar (52 years), Hariram Verma (61 years), son of Late Dhanram Verma, resident of Neura and Vivekanand Shukla (54 years), son of late Bharatlal Shukla, resident of Khudpura under Berla police station of Bemetara district. After first aid at the referral hospital, seriously injured woman Kanwariya Kamla Nishad has been sent to Deoghar for better treatment.
