Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Lalu Yadav’s party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is facing setbacks one after the other. Senior party leaders Vrushin Patel and Ashfaq Karim have resigned from RJD. Now the attitude of RJD National Vice President Devendra Prasad has also become rebellious. On Sunday, he held a press conference at his residence and made many serious allegations against Lalu Prasad Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav. After which speculations are being made that he may leave RJD.
Lalu Yadav is compromising RJD’s principles: Devendra Prasad
Devendra Prasad said that there is a lack of democracy in RJD now. Today Lalu Yadav is compromising the principles of the party. In the elections, tickets are being given to outsiders instead of party workers. He said that earlier there used to be use and grow in RJD, but now the attitude of use and throw is being adopted here. Devendra Prasad has claimed that RJD is preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the 2025 assembly elections, but if the party does not win the elections in 2024 itself, then how will it win in 2025. He said that we have never shied away from speaking the truth and if speaking the truth is rebellion then we are rebels.
RSS people are being given tickets from RJD: Devendra Prasad
Accusing RJD of crushing the sentiments of the workers, Devendra Prasad said that today work is being done in the party on the suggestions of those leaders who have no support base. He said that I have been an MP five times, so I am not worried about the ticket. Here any party worker should get the ticket, but here RSS people are being given tickets from RJD.
Injustice happened to Pappu Yadav: Devendra Prasad
Devendra Prasad has also expressed his displeasure over Pappu Yadav not being given ticket from Purnia seat. He said that injustice has been done to Pappu Yadav. The way Pappu Yadav has been ousted from the ticket from Purnia Lok Sabha constituency, the party will get its results after the elections. He said that despite being in the party, he has never retreated from the truth nor will he retreat from it. RJD has deviated from its duty. There has been negligence in giving tickets.
