RJD made Mamta Bhuyan the candidate from Palamu

Ranchi: RJD has made Mamta Bhuyan the candidate from Palamu parliamentary seat. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has also given the party’s election symbol to Mamta Bhuyan. However, official information about this has not been given by the India Alliance. RJD leaders and workers have started preparing for the nomination of Mrs. Bhuiyan. Mrs. Bhuiyan is the wife of Baldev Bhuiyan, brother of former Jharkhand minister and former Jugsalai MLA Dulal Bhuiyan.

BJP candidate and former DGP BD Ram will face Mrs. Bhuiyan in Palamu. Here, there is a tussle in the Indian alliance regarding Palamu and Chatra. RJD is claiming both these seats. At the same time, Congress is adamant on giving only one seat in the alliance. RJD will now put pressure on Chatra. RJD has brought back home the former state president of the party, Girinath Singh, who had gone to BJP. After Mr. Singh joining RJD, speculations about making him a candidate from this seat have intensified.
