Central officials of Power Grid are not getting time for the inauguration. Therefore it is not being operated. It is noteworthy that its foundation stone was laid in the year 2019. Let us tell you here that rooms will be provided to the family members of the patients in the shelter home at nominal rates. There will also be a canteen facility in the building, where food will be available at affordable rates. Its operation will be done by a private agency.

Dialysis of 60 kidney patients in RIMS in 13 days

Now patients undergoing treatment in private hospitals have also started reaching the dialysis unit of RIMS. Dialysis has been done here for 50 to 60 kidney patients in the last 13 days. Due to cheap treatment, crowd has started gathering in RIMS for dialysis. Patients covered under BPL, Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Chief Minister Critical Illness Scheme are being given free dialysis. At the same time, general patients have to pay Rs 1,341 for this. Whereas, in private hospitals, Rs 3,500 to 4,000 is charged for dialysis. The new dialysis unit was started on 17 October.

However, it will be formally inaugurated on Tuesday. Here, efforts are being made by the management to increase facilities for the patients undergoing dialysis. Ayushman counter will be made so that Ayushman patients do not face any problem. An Ayushman Mitra will be deployed here, who will help the patient’s family in connecting with the scheme. Nephrologist Dr Pragya Pant said that the number of patients remained less due to the puja holiday. Patients will increase after a week. Here 25 beds are available for dialysis. In view of the increasing number of patients getting dialysis at affordable rates and increasing the number of beds, consideration is being given to increasing the number of beds.
