Revealed: The bank was being run with the help of unarmed guards, despite sirens not being sounded.

On Friday, four criminals took bank employees and guard hostage and looted Rs 8 lakh 46 thousand in Utkarsh Micro Finance Bank operating in Baijnathpur village on Dhura in Khijarsarai block of Gaya district of Bihar. On receiving information about the matter, SSP Ashish Bharti also reached the bank and investigated the matter. During the investigation, negligence of the bank manager has also come to light. Despite the presence of two sirens, the sirens were not used during the robbery. Due to this, the robbers were able to easily escape from the crowded area. In the past, the station in-charge had been informed several times in this matter that from the security point of view, the number of CCTVs should be increased. Along with this, the bank is being run with the help of an unarmed guard, bypassing the necessary security arrangements.
