The students created a ruckus

It is said that as soon as Khurshid Alam came out of the college, the students surrounded him. They somehow saved themselves and reached Goreyakothi police station.

After receiving information about the incident, SDPO Rakesh Kumar Ranjan reached the police station and himself interrogated the professor. After this the SDPO Facebook Got the post deleted and after filling the bond and apology letter, the professor was released. He told that further action will be taken after investigation.

SDPO said that the professor is suffering from depression. He is undergoing treatment from Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. On questioning, the professor admitted that the Facebook ID was his own and he was the one who had written this post. However, in the afternoon an apology was posted from his ID. It has been said in the post that it was not my intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments. In this regard, SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha said that anti-national activities are being investigated. After this further action will be taken.

It is said that Jaypee University has also intensified action against the assistant professor. Professor Khurshid Alam is a resident of Dehri on Sone and used to teach political science at Narayan College located in Goreyakothi. Khurshid Alam has been a student of Political Ideology of Banaras Hindu University.

The professor said that if a Pakistani says Vande Mataram and an Indian says Pakistan Zindabad, it will improve the relations between the two countries. In this matter, Registrar of Jaypee University, Prof. Ranjit Kumar Singh sought clarification from the Assistant Professor through the Principal of the college. Responding to the clarification, Assistant Professor Khurshid Alam wrote that writing anything on social media is their freedom of expression. Along with this he also gave his resignation letter.
