Reshuffle in the management of Maruti Suzuki India

Maruti Suzuki India: The Board of Directors of Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has approved the appointment of Partho Banerjee as the new Head of Marketing and Sales Operations with effect from April 1, 2024. The country’s largest car manufacturing company gave this information on Wednesday. Maruti Suzuki India approved the management reshuffle in the board of directors meeting held on Wednesday.

Banerjee currently heads the service division

Banerjee is currently the head of the service division. “Banerjee is replacing Shashank Srivastava, who has been transferred from the post of Head of Marketing and Sales to Executive Committee Member,” Maruti Suzuki said in a letter to the stock exchange.

Tarun Agarwal appointed as Head of Engineering

The company has appointed Tarun Agarwal as Head of Engineering with effect from April 1, 2024. That C.V. Will replace Raman, who has been sent as an executive committee member. Maruti Suzuki said that Agarwal is currently serving as Executive Officer and Head of Powertrain Segment. The company has appointed Sandeep Rayana as product planning head and Ram Suresh Akela as service head.

Salil B Lal appointed as HR head

MSI has also transferred Rajesh Uppal, currently HR and IT head, as executive committee member. The leading automobile manufacturer has appointed Manoj Gautam as Information Technology (IT) Head and Salil B Lal as Human Resources (HR) Head with effect from April 1, 2024.

Sunil Kakkar Head of Corporate Planning

The company has transferred Sunil Kakkar from the post of supply chain head to corporate planning head. Maruti Suzuki said Deepak Thukra has been appointed as supply chain head, while Rahul Bharti has been made head of corporate affairs.
