Continuing his tradition of wearing bright and colorful turbans on special occasions, Prime Minister Modi wore a multicolored ‘Bandhani’ print turban on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day on Friday. Bandhani is a type of tie-dye cloth which is popular in Gujarat and Rajasthan. This is a method in which dyeing is done by tying and knotting the cloth.
