In today’s Google Doodle, an attempt has been made to show in what ways the parade organized on the occasion of Republic Day in the capital has been seen on screen in the last few decades.

India became independent from British rule in 1947 and became a republic on January 26, 1950. Over the years, we have moved from large television sets with cathode ray tubes to small TVs and then smartphones.

The doodle depicts two TV sets and a mobile phone with the English letter ‘G’ for Google written above the first analog television set on the left and the two TV screens depicted as two ‘O’ letters.

The remaining three English letters ‘G’, ‘L’ and ‘E’ of the word Google are written on the screen of a mobile handset shown on the right.

On the first TV screen, a scene from the parade is shown in black and white, while on the second color screen, the journey of technology is highlighted by showing the riding of camels.

It is written on this doodle, This doodle has been created on the occasion of Republic Day of India which commemorates the day in 1950 when the Constitution of India was adopted and the nation declared itself sovereign, democracy and republic.
