Renault launches 3 new cars: French car manufacturer Renault launched the updated 2024 edition car of its lineup in the Indian market on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. The manufacturer introduced the 2024 Renault Kwid, Triber and Kiger. The updated models were launched at the Renault India media conference earlier in the day. Minor features were added to all three models of the Renault lineup to make them more attractive to buyers. Renault is offering 10 new class-leading features across all three models.

Renault’s entry-level hatchback Kwid has been the best-selling car for the brand for years. The brand had offered to give a new look to this hatchback a few years ago. In its 2024 edition, the small town hatchback now comes with three new dual-tone exterior body color options. New dual-tone options are available with the Climber variant of this hatchback. Additionally, Renault offers an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the RXL (O) variant, making it the most affordable hatchback to offer touchscreen media NAV in the market. Renault has also introduced a new variant, the RXL (O) Easy-R AMT, making the Kwid the most affordable automatic car in the Indian market. The Kwid boasts of best-in-class safety with over 14 safety features as standard. Prices for the 2024 Renault Kwid start at Rs 4.69 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 5.95 lakh.

After this, Triber is in second place. This third-liner MPV from Renault is performing well in the market. Apart from the introduction of Stealth Black body colour, the Triber now comes with convenience enhancing features like driver seat armrest and power-fold outside rear-view mirror (ORVM), a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster and a wireless charger. The RXT variant now includes a rearview camera and a rear wiper. The RXL variant features rear AC vents with dedicated AC controls and vents for the second and third row. Along with this, LED cabin lamps have also been added to all variants. Additionally, a PM2.5 air filter has been installed to keep the air in the cabin clean. Like the Kwid, the Triber is also the most affordable automatic 7-seater available in the market now. The price of this MPV starts from Rs 5.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.74 lakh.

The sub-4-metre SUV segment is currently one of the most competitive segments in the country. Renault launched the Kiger a few years ago and since then it has been one of the best-selling cars for the brand. With the 2024 edition, Renault has decided to give the cabin a premium look by adding semi-leatherette seats and a leatherette steering wheel. The SUV comes with auto-fold outside rear-view mirror (ORVM) and bezel-less autodim inside rear-view mirror (IRVM). Renault also added a red brake calliper to the Turbo Edition to give it a slightly sporty look. The Kiger 2024 range comes with more equipped content like auto AC and power-fold ORVMs starting from the RXT (O) variant, cruise control on the RXZ Energy variant and LED cabin lamps on all variants. For added safety, all variants now also feature rear seatbelt reminder. Renault also introduced the RXL variant in the non-turbo edition of the SUV, which is available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. The price of 2024 Renault Kiger starts at Rs 5.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.99 lakh.
