Remembering the heroes but we need to analyze where we stand in terms of poverty, democracy: Akhilesh

Lucknow : Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has besieged the UP government by holding a press conference. Addressing the reporters on Wednesday, the former CM said that we remember all the heroes of the August Revolution, our Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and all those who gave their lives in the freedom struggle. We remember all of them. Who contributed to the independence of our country. The dreams which were seen by our freedom fighter, Mahatma Gandhi and especially socialist people are still unfulfilled. We need to analyze where do we stand in terms of poverty, unemployment, democracy, free press?

Think, what are you doing about the basic needs of the citizens

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav said in the press conference that what is being done regarding the provisions of basic needs for the citizens. The SP supremo has given this press conference at such a time when he is being accused of not discussing the problems of farmers and common man in the Vidhan Sabha. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said in a statement on Wednesday, ‘The government wants to discuss the problems of farmers, flood, drought, poor, youth, women or other problems of citizens. But the Samajwadi Party is not seeing the problems of the citizens. Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP is committed to take UP on the path of development.
