Relief to coaching institutes from Patna High Court, single bench stays KK Pathak’s order

Patna. Patna High Court has stayed another order of KK Pathak. Patna High Court has stayed the order of KK Pathak, in which he had ordered to keep the coaching institutes of the state closed from 9 am to 4 pm. On Tuesday, a single bench of Patna High Court Justice Mohit Kumar Shah heard the petition of Coaching Association of India. During the hearing on the petition, the High Court said that the Bihar government does not have the right to take such decisions on the coaching institutes of the state. The court said that only the court has the right to take such decisions. After this, the single bench stayed the order of ACS KK Pathak of the Education Department.

Order given due to low attendance of children in school

On July 31, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, KK Pathak had issued a major order tightening the noose on the coaching institutes of the state. KK Pathak had issued an order that due to running of coaching institutes at the time of operation of schools, the attendance of children in schools reduces. ACS KK Pathak of the Education Department had ordered to keep coaching institutes closed from 9 am to 4 pm. The Coaching Association of India had filed a petition in the Patna High Court against this order of KK Pathak, seeking intervention in the matter. While hearing the petition of Coaching Association of India on Tuesday, the court clearly said that the Bihar government does not have the authority to take such a decision. This decision of the High Court has dealt a big blow to KK Pathak as well as the state government.
