With the aim of providing educational support to students with special needs in secondary, higher secondary and elementary schools of the state, 5534 posts of trained special teachers of various disabilities were created for classes one to five and 1745 posts for classes six to eight. Are. The application process of BSSTET 2023 for these posts will start from October 2. Applications can be made online by visiting the website till 22 December.

Application fee

Candidates belonging to General Category, EWS, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class will have to pay application fee of Rs 960 for any one paper and Rs 1440 for both the papers. At the same time, for SC and ST you will have to pay Rs 760 for each paper and Rs 1140 for both the papers. The exam will be online for two hours and three minutes. The date of examination will be released later.

Minimum age should be 18 years

Pass certificate will be issued to all the candidates successful in Paper-1 and Paper-2 in BSSTET 2023. The validity of the certificate will be lifelong. The cutoff date for the minimum age limit for application has been kept as August 1, 2023. The minimum age of applicants should be 18 years as on August 1.

Minimum qualifying marks are different for both the papers.

Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks in class I to V and D.El.Ed in Special Education from an institute recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India with valid CRR number of Rehabilitation Council of India. At the same time, for classes 6th to 8th, one should have a graduation degree from a recognized university and B.Ed in special education from an institute recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India along with a valid CRR number of Rehabilitation Council of India.

The question paper will be like this

There will be two papers in BSSTET. The first paper will be for eligibility to become a special school teacher for classes 1 to 5. The second paper will be for eligibility to become a special school teacher for classes 6 to 8. The questions of the first paper will be based on the syllabus of classes 1 to 5 approved by the state government, but the difficulty level and intensity of the questions can be of intermediate level. Similarly, the questions of the second paper will be based on the syllabus of class VI to VIII approved by the state government, but the difficulty level and relevance of some questions may be of higher secondary level.
