Jio added 4.37 lakh new customers in September 2023

Airtel, BSNL also got slight rise and Voda-Idea suffered a setback.
According to TRAI report, Reliance Jio has added maximum 4.37 lakh new customers in Bihar Telecom circle in September 2023. With this, the market share of Reliance Jio in Bihar and Jharkhand, two states of Bihar Telecom Circle, has increased to 42.1 percent. According to TRAI report, Reliance Jio, Airtel and BSNL have added new consumers in Bihar-Jharkhand in the month of September. Jio alone has captured a major share of the industry growth in Bihar telecom circle. In August 2023, Jio had 3 crore 87 lakh 20 thousand 581 customers in Bihar-Jharkhand, which increased to 3 crore 91 lakh 57 thousand 555 in September.
TRAI report shows that in the month of September, Airtel has added only 21 thousand new customers in Bihar-Jharkhand. In August 2023, Airtel had 4 crore 62 lakh 7 thousand 879 subscribers, which increased to 4 crore 64 lakh 9 thousand 017 in September 2023. According to the TRAI report of September 2023, public sector BSNL has added 9 thousand 391 new customers in Bihar circle. In August 2023, BSNL had 53 lakh 87 thousand 664 consumers in Bihar-Jharkhand, which increased to 53 lakh 97 thousand 055 in September.
According to TRAI report, Voda-Idea has to lose 01 lakh 02 thousand 335 customers in Bihar Telecom Circle in September 2023. In August 2023, Voda-Idea had 79 lakh 43 thousand 071 customers, which reduced to 78 lakh 40 thousand 736 in September.
According to TRAI report, 3 lakh 65 thousand 150 new consumers have joined the mobile service in September 2023 in the two states of Bihar Telecom Circle, Bihar-Jharkhand. Despite this increase, the tele density of Bihar circle is 55.98 percent, which is the lowest in the country.
In Bihar Telecom Circle, Reliance Jio is continuously leading in terms of adding customers. Due to excellent 5G coverage and entry level JioBharat 4G phones, a large number of consumers are joining Reliance Jio.
